Sup fellas,
LTNS, my dog plays better than you, so on and so forth.

been MIA for 364 days according to my "user stats"
well finals are coming up and i'll have a month off. was looking to play again but ive been having problems. java wont load. updated it twice. is there like a time frame for playability i dont know about or is this a unique problem?

searched for similar threads for a good 3-4 minutes but my efforts were fruitless. sorry if theres already a topic for this.

you more than likely need to upgrade your java. You may also lack framework updates.
Microsoft framework 3.5 should be enough

Latest java will work. They java they link you to if it doesnt load it also enough. Nice to see you back.

what have i missed in the past year besides the reset of Tankpit?

ill give those a try later. i already updated java. even installed and uninstalled Java.
when i go to play, the Java logo just loads and loads but the bar never moves.

Install latest java, ignore deleting old(had to with BF but not TP).
Install Framework 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5
Install MS C++ Library

Should be good to go at that point.

If it still doesn't load make sure Java is enabled for your browser via the Java Control Panel.

I can't play TP at work... no idea why, guessing it has something to do with how my net is routed.

To me it sounds like what dew said ....
That java isn't enabled in browser and or shitty internet connection that's slowing it down badly
