BFUnity Gaming

I paid for a year of hosting for our BFU teamspeak server, admins are same as the forum with the addition of m@tt (MoD). I made team chats for every team, Elements have their password set already so get with Hays for your pass. As to AoW and Simpsons, I will need to get with crush/knock and cujo. Also will need who AoW / Simpson channel admins are going to be (if you want one), so I can go ahead and give that individual their auth key to unlock.


Getting Started
If you do not already have this program downloaded, go to http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads and download the Client 32 or 64. (The Client, NOT the Server lol)




Paste this into the server box:
bfunity.progamerhosting.com:9030

Choose a Nickname. There is no password. Your screen should look like this when you connect:




When you are connected this is what it will look like (double click rooms to change chat rooms):




May need a couple moderators for when admins are not in the chat.. Other than that, enjoy.

For those who use the TeamSpeak channel, Just wanted to clarify on the the rules so people don't get Banned/Kicked/Muted.

Server Admins: Savin, Jake, M@tt, Baha


For Users:

- No excessive yelling and screaming into your mics.
- Set a push to talk button so people don't have to hear your background noises and echos.
- No excessive poking.
- Respect other players.
- If away, move to the AFK channel.


For Channel Admins and Operators: (Zenta, Jimmy, Boom, Lonelamer, brandon, titanium, devestator)

- Channel admins have the ability to kick players from the server or channel, not ban. Team channel admins can also edit the passwords of their team's channel.
- Do not abuse your kicking powers, if you do it will be noted in the logs and you will lose your channel admin.

There are still some positions open for channel admins, if interested contact one of the server admins.

Also Tank Pit awards have been added to the server so your username can reflect your awards in game. ask an admin to assign them for you.

well your supposed to poke the admins for permissions

Just downloaded and am getting "Failed to connect to server" error when I attempt to connect to the server. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure there are no spaces at the beginning or end? My bookmark for the BFU tab looks like thus:

I just had to add the bookmark (basically just copied yours from the ss you posted). I've never used TeamSpeak before though - so I still have 'Insufficient Permissions'. Anyway you could make it a two-for and do me a solid on that one as well?

Why not just put a xat chatbox on the sites?
