1. To be fair, quitting and entering in a different spot 5 minutes later was always part of BF, and it is a strategy of sorts. Not a very good one but noobs gonna noob one way or another.

2. Most people are complaining there is not enough fuel. You're the only one complaining about too much lol. There was more fuel in BF.

3. I completely agree that there are a lot of lame players (mobbing, quitting, etc) right now. Not sure if that will fix itself over time, or what is the reason for it. I don't mind newbies etc doing it, but the fact that all the experienced players are doing it is really what sucks.

That is what is pissing me off, the experienced old school players who think its ok, or come with an an excuse I'm not taking your mob.

Ops refused to take raids, so I refused to take one of theirs but then went in and took it, they have now sort of started to take, some times when they feel like it though.

^ Just an example of something else.

But yeah people quit low then think its funny because the other person has gotten mad, it is ruining the fun and the game although it has always been around, it was always the noobs who quit low not the respectable players who just decided i've taken enough raids/deaths I don't want another.

Another thing that pisses me off is how I am on the low-quit list when I have never quit low in this game, I came here and haven't even taken a serg free kill or quit low so why the fuck try to make me look bad who ever said me?

IMHO a lot of quitting low is in reaction to something else: mobbing.

No respectable and good player should tag raids of another color, making a 6v1 into a 10v1.

This mob mentality was reinforced and promoted in uTanks. Not everyone seems to do it. I feel like only person, in a mob, who is not shooting the poor target lol.

Since the game can't really support these mobs yet, people quit low etc, which just leads to more mobbing and quitting.

Respectable players in BF were generally solo and played fair: didn't tag raids, didn't q low. It's fine if noobs partake of those activities since they suck anyways, but when skilled players do it, that's what really hurts the game.

I think all this game etiquette is garbage. I try to avoid doing what we all hate because I do not want to be a hypocrite. I do not cry about cheap players though. They are working the system. I don't cry about the guy who ran a red traffic light and didn't get caught and I don't cry about a player quitting low.

yeah sw, but for example just now, snakes came in, me, and 3 others, you where in on your purple lueit.

The map had 15 orange, 15 purple, some red and 10 or 9 blue so we thought lets go in, next min we kill some, EVERY1 else runs and quits, then I froze and quit out to re-enter to see 17 blue, 11 orange, 15 ... Its the noobs who are ruining it, and changing colour to create the mob, the good players came in to get some kills and have some fun raiding.

Purple are horrible, I am thinking of making one to show them how to fucking play.

Umm noobs are gonna be noobs and are gonna change colors and quit. It's natural. You can't blame them. They don't have some responsibility to take your raid, just because you feel like raiding.

It's up to the good players (including YOU) to keep things fair. If the good players didn't all pick the same color (ie. blue) at the same time, then others wouldn't need to quit or switch colors. Basically it's your own fault. If you didn't overpower the map with blue, the map wouldn't be overpowered with blue. Purples may suck it's not really relevant. If you don't want purples to suck then someone good needs to play purple. It's up to us. I would but I'm too lazy right now and frankly not interested in taking raids with my lieut and dying over and over again. I blame teams for these problems. You see the problems too. Well, if you didn't have a team, these problems wouldn't happen, so it's something that's up to you and the rest of players who are scared to play solo to deal with.

Rofl, there was 17 blue and 16 purple yet you still come after me. I come in on CITADEL, out tele your whole team chasing the gen or whoever the hell you were chasing. I couldn't tell because your team was shooting 3 different people. I get a little low and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU NOOBS goes after my orange cap. Fucking pathetic. Then as I kill a serg to have the kill back to cap I try and shoot the purp maj for points while your raiding it and yet again your team trys to get on my LT and then as I make cappy 3 of them jump me instantly. Fuck you noobs.

Tbh, as much as I hate these people mobbing lieuts, it sounds like you might have deserved it for trying to tag the raid and mob purples.

Actually it's pretty lame to "help" someone who is already overpowering. First of all, the person they're after already has enough troubles without you adding to them. Second of all, after they kill that person, they're most likely going to kill you too in the same way (unless you quit). It seems like the second scenario is what played out this time. If you were helping the target and fighting against the mob you'd have a better chance at survival or at least wouldn't feel so bad afterwards.

Nah what's his name how bout u stay blue with those winners since purples suck, besides I don't think you'll play other than your team/main tank anyway though.
I agree with sw about the colors ganging up, but TM3 u did deserve it, I usually don't care who gets deactivated but I was happy u died, there were other tanks to get pts off, besides tagging along attacking the tank getting raided. Can't complain though, it's always fun playing as purple. Like inazn, I try not to do the things we hate and i don't complain, its been going on forever, people gonna play however they want.

Re: Done with Tankpit

Postby TM3 » Sat Jan 21, 2012 8:27 pm

lol whatever. There was no "mob", if you read correctly the colors were almost even. It was either help try and kill noobs who marathon every single time more then 1 person is on their screen vs fight the snakes for the 10000th time. Well #2 is going to happen regardless so fuck it I'll try and get a kill before I take it. Totally lame... Neither could stick to a target so I went after the highest rank which was the Lcire2 gen who marathons, quits low, etc. Sue me.

The only time I was getting points was after I died and I was shooting blue and purple while the raid was going on and so easily snakes gets sidetracked and can't stay on target and go after my LT instead of continuing their raid, so surprising.

I play solo all the time so yeah I'm going to help jump someone because its impossible to rank when your color isn't in. I'm not a faggot and switch colors to join the mob unlike a lot of people. The first few days of tankpit were great, there were multi-colored raids everywhere and everyone was taking them and ranking wasn't a problem. Now we're back to where we started and kids just switch colors instead and bitch out. Whatever. I take everything thrown at me so I'm going to tag anything I feel like, if you don't like it too bad.

Personally I find it alot more fun to tag along to raids and snipe the people actually performing the raids. When people are raiding someone, they tend to forget their fuel and armor shields and end up with insufficient fuel because of tele'ing to chase the person taking the raid.

But that's just me.

^ Yea it's more fun haha.

There are a few people doing this now.

The more people we get to fight against the snakes (or whoever else is mobbing), rather than tag along and contribute to the mobbing, the better off things will be. AnnacondA seems to think there's nothing wrong with chasing every player out of the map so we need to unite and defend ourselves collectively somehow.

TMIII we turn on you because your ether hitting us why we try to raid, or your trying to snipe the kill. Simply go the other side of the map and fight somebody else and you wll not be a target lol.

I play my tank solo, as SW you have probably seem, snakes play utanks and where only here because utanks was down, there is only me left playing here now, so count me as a solo tank. They will come to raid from time to time for fun.

Also TMII You said who ever we where shooting, like we where unorganised that's because we was not in chat, players came in on their own accord there was no announcement we where going to raid they just came to play we used in game messages for targets that time.

Look, I am always targeted all day long and all night long by all colours until blue get an advantage and people run, i'm fine with that, if purples ever raid I doubt you'll complain and not raid with them.

I agree with a lot said in this topic though, but sw you can't blame teams, all it takes is 1-2 more of a colour and every1 switches to that colour.

I fight who I know will actually fight, I'm not going to chase around noob LT's all day who shoot once, move to fuel, shoot again. What's the point of shooting those people besides to get frustrated? I've tried enough, even getting dead low and armor fighting them while they're full health and they still pull that shit, boring, no thank you. Your crazy to think I'm not going to try and kill someone when I'm not ranked maj+.

Its hard to figure out who to shoot in an organized raid? lol I know your better than that dude you read the name in a chat and thats the target. We have only organized maybe 3 raids in tank pit. Not everybody hates the team, a few real good players have joined. Snakes is a utanks team anyway I play here solo. I am a target because I die easily due to problems I have, and because I always fight to the death. Probably why you are always a target also. Like I said if you shoot us your going to be raided, if you shoot our target then thanks for the help but its your turn next, you can't win lol ('our target' as in blue's target) Snakes are not a team here, its a few members who play when utanks is down or un-active.

Alex, snakes gon snake. That will never change. They are bad, pathetic, and can't raid at all on utanks, so its only obvious their lack of skill would carry over to tankpit. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt a few times, but still they continue to suck and ruin both games.

What is this mentality that people shouldn't tag raids or whatever else that further reduces a person's survivability? And the thing I hate most is when ppl say brb as a way of saying ''don't attack me till I reload my equipment''. Proper etiquette in war was neglected after the days of George Washington(Americans vs the British). Mercy is for the weak, I really do wish people would stop setting standards as to how hard enemy tanks are soppose to attack them. You're soppose to go overkill in your attack-that is war and it's not a requirment for you to like it :clueless:

Solution:Get rid of the water. No point, people are fighting on land and the fuel eventually ends up respawning in the water. Since people have a problem with others ''running to water''(something else I don't think is a big deal but I won't go into that)then it makes absolutely no sense to have it.
