On the subject of TRO, the guy was a douchebag and nobody should really want him back. He was very intolerant though, and we need to be less tolerant to cheaters in TP. Up until now we've let them get away with so much. Hopefully this is the first step.

That depends. If the forum was full of people like you, knock, el, Stephan, Kirby etc. then posts and topics would be of high quality without the need for moderation. However if we have people like what's his name/DS flaming everywhere or frog/Shazam trolling then we either a) let threads derail; if no action was taken by any mods/globals/admins this forum would be a shitfest right now, b) moderate quite a lot so that the forum is actually worth reading or c) take less action and clean the forums by removing the source of the bullcrap (which is what Josh has done with what's his name/DS).

It wasn't that I wanted to remove zubby, just that I feel knock was more deserving of the title. Knock cleans up a lot of crap around here and will get involved - I just haven't seen any of that from zubby recently. I'm sure knock/el/war/divinely will not delete stuff that does not warrant it, and I haven't seen zub deleting stuff that does warrant it. Hopefully though now that most of the offenders have gone this forum can get back on track and allow for a more zub style approach to modding, but for now I think this is best. This is controversial I know; zub has been here forever and practically always been global (I'm willing to bet nobody would be making a fuss if I'd given global to someone, they hadn't used it, and it was removed a few months later) but I'm thinking of the forum's present and future, not its past.

Currently I'm discussing his global status with him via PM.

oh k just wondering. And yes i agree with the what's his name/ds shit but they should never be allowed to post on this forum anyways. They were let back in on a technicality imo so i was never factoring them into my thinking. What I meant was slightly off topic posts/threads that have no significant importance probably shouldnt be locked/deleted. Its not like this forum has hundreds of posts per day and the quality threads are getting bumped back, I just feel like some things should just let slide. Also im sure zub didnt do much because there were other active globals/admins doing the work daily and zub was more so someone who could do what needed to be done when others missed over it. Also i always thought knock was a global.

edit: completely idiotic mindnumbingly bad posts should be deleted tho. for example bluntz. the guy spits out the stupidest shit and obviouslt has no intentions of conforming to the ways the community is expected to act. Not saying he needs to go robot mode and avoid confrontations but his style is the same as what's his name/ds/zaraki etc. Like to see him get a warning preferably a ban. hes been around long enough now to know how terrible his actions are and has no intentions of changing. read the bfbb for further proof.

I wasn't happy Jake did this without consulting Enforcer or I, but I don't believe he was wrong in doing it.
Jordan is active, his posts are 99% constructive, and he was Global up until May.. I was gone when his Global was removed.
