PPH....All the details?
LOL....Ok before we start, If you hate me, for whatever reason....and you know the answers to my questions, answer them anyways lol. Think of it as helping the whole community rather than me
I don't guess I really ever wondered about PPH back in the day, I simply just went after what rank tank i needed and got ranks, was wayyy to far off to worry about top 10 rankings etc.
But after this last tourney I have some questions about PPH and ranking.
From what I understand PPH is accumulated on your tank and is never erased, no matter the rank increase or decrease...right?
Also, how do you get promotional points, just by shooting enemy tanks? can laying mines give you points, can shooting period give you points? do you get more points from shooting higher leveled targets?
Also, i see people talk about how they were close to passing someone based on there promotional points, etc. How do you know how many you have? are you just guestimating?
IF ANYONE KNOWS ALOT ABOUT THIS SUBJECT, PLZ POST WHAT YOU KNOW!
PS i would figure this would be good content on the BB for a war correspondent reward, for whoever posts it.

PP stands for promotional points, and your overall points on your tanks. you get them by shooting enemies.
PPH - promotional points per hour, basically was created when people wanted to have a tank that could achieve record shinning and battered rankings, ie a tank with battered where most people have a rusty sword.
you get higher points for higher ranks and lower points for lower ranks.
i dont think planting mines does anything.
as for knowing how many to catch someone, its all guessing based on their hours, figuring how much they fight and etc.
for example i only fight when im on weekend, and i passed annaconda at 36 hours when he had 45 hours on his tank. that also shows i have a decent pph.

you get more points for shooting as a lower rank, and for hitting higher ranks
pph is only really key if you're trying to win a tournament in some situations or want to make a tank just for pph
basically you're trying to get as many points as possible, not waste many turns, always either shooting targets or filling duals
if you're trying to pph in a tournament its important to find other people who are also beasting, and not chasing kills (that you presumably don't want or don't need)

Didn't read any of the replies so it could of already been covered but...
Promotional points are accumulated on your tank for shooting enemy only they are never erased even after promotion or death. The more you have the lower your # will be. This is how we work out the 'Top 25' topic that list is who has the most points.
Shooting high ranks as a low rank (serg shooting general) gives you the best points but you hold less equipment so you fill more, you have to find the right rank for you to get a good PPH.
PPH is Points per hour. You can't work it out here since they don't show it. You mean hear people saying somebody has awesome PPH or the best PPH in the map. That could be something like this example. [I have 120 hours and I am #2 but Hunter only had 105 hours and he is #1] This means his PPH is better he gets more points per hour than I do so it takes him less time to gain #'s.
I hope this helped you and others.
