If you have recently or ever won a LB award...
If you recently won the LB award on tankpit, please post what your idea was...because apparently the tankpit people liked it and might implement it, so lets get a sneek peek at maybe some future content. Also, if you ever won the LB in battlefield, did you ever see your idea implemented into the game? From what I remember when playing BF, the game never got new content or updates, I think the only thing I can remember is the promotional points being added?...
Anyways, I know only one other guy has won the LB in tankpit atm lol, but if you submitted for the LB and think your idea was good, post it here. I won a LB but I can't really remember what I sent in, I just kind of typed what I was thinking about.
from the entries I sent in, I remember these:
-open chat in tankpit, censored ofc.
-new equipment, something to do with speed tracks, makes your tank travel faster or lets you move 2x before your opponent, helpful for people being mobbed. Other equipment I think i put was a type of healing equip that regenerates a small amount of your "life" when not in combat.

I suggested a tournament clock on Playbattlefield.com and they added a tournament countdown one month afterwards. Did not get a Lightbulb.

I think I've only sent in two suggestions. With no response of course, so I doubt they're highly considered.
1 - Allow users to map their shortcut keys. Rather than F, D, S, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, let people put them where they want.
2 - Make quitting a 2-3 step process. Once you hit Q you are prompted to confirm leaving the game by either entering Y/N or Y/N+Enter. Makes it more of a process than an impulse pinky twitch.
Sounds like invazn got screwed.

I suggested players post videos to promote the game via sites like youtube for purple heart award or something. Taking raids, introducing the game and etc. Then let players vote on best raiders and raid takers.
I suggested that the ideas be posted online so everyone can see, so that players wont post already thought of ideas and also help players improve/build on existing ideas... and a bunch of other things, player of the month and etc etc.
Apparently, they are doing the video promotion this month. Either someone posted the idea before me, or the developers thought of the idea already, or that it just wasnt a good enough idea =/.

Wow thats cool they actually do listen :D also about the creating a difficult way to quit the game, I submitted a idea like that and they sent me a email saying that "quitting low was a strategy of the game to newbies" so I doubt they will ever fix that...but I like all of your ideas keep sending them in.

I suggested Equipment Detected Here and Ferry Detected Here, which were both obviously implemented. At that time, Fuel Detected Here was the only choice.
I also won a second Lightbulb years later, though I do not remember what for.

I just won my second Lightbulb for the new ability for players to check their promotion requirements, and to have a PP meter in replacement of the "Inventory" button. Here's the exact text I sent to them:
" This is an idea concerning the replacement of the "Inventory" button found on the far right of the in-map UI. Many players utilize the 'I' key or hover over their equipment to find out what they have, and I have a suitable replacement. My idea is to add a "Promotion Points to Next Level" meter in place of the "Inventory" button. This meter would NOT show physically numbers, and will instead be nothing more than a colored meter. This way players have a visual on close they're getting to the next rank -- point-wise. I have added a screenshot URL below, this will give you a better idea:
http://effeduptext.com/imgs/tpidea.png "
They went one step further and made it clickable, as well as display the deactivation requirement.
I won a Lightbulb back in 2000, also, but I don't remember what it was for.

I'm surprised how fast they implemented it. I only submitted the idea 2-3 days ago. It's good to see them on their game. Kudos to the DEVs.

Nice Val congrats on the LB! nice idea
I remembered what I submitted to them for my lightbulb, I ask that all computer tanks have a 100% drop rate for equipment, even if its just 1-2 units per kill. but considering how fast they put in the promotion point thing I don't think any of my ideas or pyscho doctors are gonna get put in :(
btw does anyone know what pyscho doctors idea was?

Thanks! Did they wait until the end of the month to award you with your LB, or did they send you an email accepting your idea and award you LB that day? I was expecting to have to wait until the end of the month to find out if I won LB, not just 2-3 days -- I'm definitely stoked. I honestly enjoy your idea more than mine -- it will definitely be implemented. Mine was extremely easy for them to implement, all they had to do was make the graphic for it, then tie into per-existing statistics. With your idea, they'll have to come up with an algorithm prior to implementing.
