It's important to uninstall all Java 6 suits first.
Xanthoz posted this in a topic, thank you I will try this out. I am using google chrome and java 6 right now, if anybody has any know how about what is the best java, and browser then please help the community and us unfortunate players with horrible connections.
I read somewhere that the older versions of Java loaded faster and worked at a higher pace ? or smoother pace? - This is probably false?

You need at least 1.6 or it won't run. Older versions of java often = security flaws.
I use Firefox with the latest Java 1.6 without problems. Well, Firefox has problems, but not related to the game.
I've not used Java 7 (is it officially released yet, or pre-release?) but it's worth trying. There are so many things involved that could cause lag in such a high level thing as a java applet, that it's kinda impossible to tell without experimenting around.

That is false.
Java 7 is by far the most optimized in terms of code and compatibility.
The reason people say older Java versions are faster, is because it had less features, less code, less compatibility issues to take care off. However, these days the size in relation to what computer CPU's are capable off makes that increase irrelevant.
Firefox nightly isn't necessary. I tested extensively with Firefox (Release) and Java 7. It never froze up.

Good. I would have said "see you on the battlefield" but 5+ orange players ganking me the second I join... nah, it'll have to wait. ;)
