lame tournament. had a good fill. no one would pph with me, only tried to call mobs anytime i shot someone not of my color. fell back in points couldnt find any eq. shit got annoying real fast.

weve had decent tournies but i guess that faggotry circle decided to come out of the woodwork again.

Tourney was pretty much handed to me although hardly anyone fought me in the last half of it unless it was mob attempts. Nice to make major though, haven't gotten to experience that much in TP.

Had a 12 min fill which is horrible for Maze. After that I thought I pphd real hard but it was one of the most competitive/largest fields I've seen in a while and I had to keep chasing at the end. Coudn't get any of the diedowns or mob kills. Meh quit low on me. Finished as one of the top lieuts. :shrug:

I had a shitty fill, about 14 mins. I stole a box from DTF which finally gave me 4 ers as I was approaching all 60s and 0. I felt like I was too late on the scene constantly. Couldnt find eq, cudnt find a good fighting partner, when I jumped in on the mob half would turn on me or everyone would be porting out. I didn't even try to pph, I went for major, but then only made captain coz cocacola dies down. I pretty much gave up when knock made maj coz I want gold and knew he was miles ahead of me in points.

You consistsntly do well in tourneys and you havnt been back that long. Maybe in a little while these guys will have some new competiton on the cup points leader board. Gotta give you credit where its due good luck in apps if you play.

He also ranks but then doesnt pph to keep himself in high standings. more silver and bronzes for hunter! haha

thats a really solid way to increase your overall cup %, but its mostly going to be bronze/silver and i think it hurts your chances at gold overall.

Oh no doubt im not denying that. He just tends to do himself a disservice when he continually calls mobs on people instead of pointing, especially since he has the capability to get good pph and has the golden gun in tournies.

Hunter spends most of his time chasing kills, then pph after he ranks/get the kill. He barely made Major this time. Squeezed in last minute.

He has to be lucky to win Gold playing this way. Being the only major is his only chance. It will happen one of these times.
If knock didnt get to major. Hunter would of had gold.

I think it's a perfectly fine strategy. I tried it many times, just not much luck with kills. If you go after points, you can play tourny till the end because you still have a chance. This strategy, when I dont get kills with 10 mins left, I have given up already.

Balance between the two is best in my opinion. I think your play should be entirely based on how the others around you in points are playing. If they are focusing more on points and not many people are ranking you should probably follow suit. If they are focusing heavily on ranking then you should probably be trying to as well because it won't set you far behind.

All about the player field to me...and I find there is a lot of variation at times in these tourneys so far.

I was red that tourny and I only remember him hitting "help enemy" maybe once or twice all tourny (I didn't go either time). Idk, maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention :shrug:

I think Hunter is better than you guys are giving him credit for and he could also be a little rusty since he has barely played in months. Even so, he definitely not on that elite level yet. I won't be surprised when he gets gold though.

i dont think any of us have discredited him in any sense at all. I think hes a solid player but loses his lead a lot, he will get gold soon though, he always lands the kills haha.
