i think there is a couple of players who are "friends" with the high ranks and they spend there whole time in tournament trying to get to a rank to boost there "friend" saw about 3 like that today. Either they can't play a lick or they are doing what I mentioned above.

as opposed to that other tournament, where you had planned fks and i stole one of them to win and then you quit low on p-8 and myself ON A FERRY not even 5 minutes later. btw i'd kill to see if you vidded that shit too

His kill was legit. The red mob got me a few minutes prior, and I had no extra radars left. And, no, he wasn't by himself -- it was two red and one blue who killed me on water. It's disappointing too, I had the quickest fill I have ever had in a tourny -- 6 1/2 minutes. I was #1 in points for over 50% of the tourny. I had to refill equip at Capt, and fell back to 4 by the time I was done, but I quickly got back to #1 in points afterward. After that, a couple Majors winded popping up, and left me looking for a Lieu kill. Instead, the reb mob decided to get lovey dovey with me, and killed me while I drove around looking for fuel that didn't exist. Shortly after that, I ran out of ER, then got killed again on the water by the 2 red and blue. After respawning, someone popped up next to me trying to get a rekill, so I just left.

I played one and only one tourney on TankPit so far. Based on everything I read after the tourneys, it makes my decision easy to not play anymore. It's a shame these kids have to ruin the only enjoyable aspect of the game man. Oh well, they will end up killing the game, just like how bf was towards the end.

I still think tournaments are fun. It's competitive, you have to fill fast, pph as much as you can, look for kills and equipment management all in 1 hour. People will cheat regardless. Perhaps your expectation of yourself is to win most of the time, and not reaching that goal sucks. I have missed out on kills many times. Today was one of those days (I heart General Lucy), other days, I get the kills and I win. It's fun to play regardless of winning or losing. The way I see it, it's 1 hour of competitive game playing. It feels good when you finally own noobs :).

knock stay around, you've been one of the people thats fun to have in game. youve won tournies, it must be nice to beat out a bunch of scrubs who cheat and still lose.

if we lose players like you then we wont have much to go on and the game will get worse. the game needs some mentors. look at big blue, hes had a big turn around since hes been told to play better.

I still believe once you die you’re out; after all it is a tournament. I got raped by red mob, died, then quit. (Had every red possible at one point, it seemed) Was behind on points, and I hate the fuel output on that map. Was lag for me off the start, after filling I tried rebooting explorer, but still was lag. I should have done a complete reboot of computer before playing.

Knock I here yah bud, they're people out there who won't admit that they helped their buddy or buddies out in a tournament. I know sometime it does seem to be that lucky last shot on those chases with any color mob. People know people to boost for points, and then on top of that they have kills lined up, but obviously fail sometimes, or those random giveaways cause they know you. I still think they’re fun and competitive, but I think the communication outside the game seems to ruins the game play inside. Just isn’t the same, and I try to stay outside of the communication with players.

I'll stick around for the time being. It wasn't so bad back in the old days when kills were still attanable with a larger playing field. Perhaps if/when there are more people then the variance won't be so high in tournaments.

Out of all honesty the old battlefield entertained me more than any other online game I've ever played. It's just so sad to see a game so unique just get destroyed so bad...I guess I shouldn't expect things to be normal just starting up again but I really hope there are some improvements with the playing field. I'll admit I like the competitiveness of tournaments as I always did, just frustrating with the level of cheating per player...it's definitely at an all time high in the history of this game.

all we need is a big influx of new players. we cant have a game based soley on people who used to play it 5-10 years ago. we need to get another game website to host it so that we can get more new players. any ideas on a website? are candystand or miniclips still around?
