In the current tourny, I think having a fast fill is important. My fill time average around 7-8 mins. If you like, PM me so we can talk about how you are filling and maybe I can help you out if it's a recurring issue for you.
For today's tourny, my rough assessment of cupping is:
2/6 fill
3/6 kills
1/6 points

It looks like if you make major in 1 hr tourny, there is a very good chance you will cup. This tourny is a prime example, the top 3 all didnt have that many points. How -SeVeR-II has the most out of them boggles my mind.

Good tourny xurich. You did well. I'm no tourny king but I guess I do have a few tips.

1. I know CM is a hard map to move in but I would suggest a more grid-like radaring pattern. Especially at the start when you are radaring virgin ground. Radar in a grid-like pattern rather than just going in straight lines. Like I said though, you may have just been doing that because it was CM.

2. Go for points man! You got your easy serge kill real early on. After that you continued to go around with the mobs. I would have just focused on points until you got to captain. Same goes for when you got your lieut kill. Gor for points after your kills next time! I bet if you would have done this you would have cupped.

3. Another thing with radaring, this may just be a style thing but it seems like you radar everytime you land and almost everytime before you tele. Equipment and especially extra radars are a hot commodity in tournies. Instead of radaring for fuel, try landing on fuel that has already been radared if you can. That way you save time and ERs.

4. Also, get the eq whenever you see it. Although again, I know CM can make this hard sometimes.

5. Lastly, near the end of the tournament you should start using your missles shots as well. Ideally, you should need them in order to not run out of homing shots.

Thanks for the tips, 003. They're very useful, especially #3. I hadn't really considered that, but it's a good point. As far as #2 goes, I think that's my biggest problem. I always seem to be in the lowest position of whatever rank I am. I'm not really sure how to "go for points" though. Instead of going with the mob, do I just try to find one guy and shoot him by myself? Do I focus on bots who won't move around much at all?

No problem man. Usually you can find a lieut or higher to 1v1 or 2v1 for a little while. Even 3v1 is better than a huge mob. Doing something like that will get you points faster than having 5-10v1 in a mob. To be honest I'm not the best at getting points either but smaller battles usually give you more points.
