Tournament Clock
Is everyone's tournament clock consistent with the tournament calendar? Mine is way off.

It's GMT, just like Battlefield.
So if you're EST (GMT-5), subtract 5 hours from the posted tournament times.

Haha I know how 24-hour clocks work as well as time zones. ..I hope.
Example: tourney today is at 21:00-22:00 which means 9:00pm-10:00pm GMT. My tourney countdown says 2:25:36 till next tourney. That would make the tourney at 2:00pm GMT. I hope I am just making a huge calculation error.
Example: tourney today is at 21:00-22:00 which means 9:00pm-10:00pm GMT. My tourney countdown says 2:25:36 till next tourney. That would make the tourney at 2:00pm GMT. I hope I am just making a huge calculation error.

Asian fail.
If you posted this at 13:36 EST with 2:25:36 left to go, that implies a 16:00 EST start time.
If we do the math, 21-5 (to convert to EST from GMT)=16.
So by that math, the tournament started at 16:00 EST.

I quit. I obviously cannot do simple addition and subtraction. I will just rely on the tourney clock from now on. Never had this problem on Bonus/Playbf.
(I still cannot find my error in calculation)

From what I recall Battlefield used Pacific Time.
On topic, the tournament clock seems to work fine for me.

Battlefield did use Pacific Time. I never had to convert anything from what I remember.

Screw you guys. I knew I wasn't going crazy.

Notice that Monday the 23 is highlighted while it is, in fact, Sunday the 22. Also note that TankPit claims the current time is 1:27 GMT while, in fact, it is not. It also claims that the tournament this morning took place at noon when, in fact, it did not.

Posted @ 20:37 PM EST.
20:37 + 5 (to convert to GMT)= 01:37 AM, 22JAN12.
12:00 - 5 (to convert to EST from GMT)= 07:00AM, 21JAN12.

I'll just throw together a quick rundown of how to convert between time zones.
1. Establish what two time zones you are looking at in terms of GMT. In this case, we're looking at GMT and GMT-5. To find the equivalent of your time zone in terms of GMT, a quick Google search will do.
2. Consider GMT to be a variable. For example, if we try to figure out what time it would be at 23:00 GMT-5 in GMT, we can set the numbers up as follows:
(GMT)-5=23
(GMT)-5+5=23+5
GMT=23+5
GMT=04 AM
Conversely, if you know the time in GMT and want to convert to your time zone, you can set it up like this. Using the same numbers as in the above example, but with GMT being 23:00.
(23)-5= (GMT-5)
(GMT-5)=(EST)
(23)-5=EST
18=EST
EST=18:00 PM
Hope this helped.

You're over-complicating things wardizzle.
If your time zone is "GMT -5", then you simply subtract 5 hours from GMT to get your time.
My time zone is "GMT -7". If the GMT time is 17:00, it is 10:00 for me.

I'm just giving him a thorough explanation since
didn't seem to do the trick.
