LB idea 3
Another idea I came up with, sent it off a while ago, would rather get feedback from you guys because tankpit staff dont usually get back to me.
You can never really compare yourself to anyone in this game properly. People lie about stats and sometimes the job of just finding out and comparing is too time consuming for people to do. I think all tankpit stats should be saved daily onto a server and sorted into a statistical form, It could be overwritten every week and coded into your system so it's all automated. I have made an elaborate example of what the applet could be, but from what I know this could be accomplished by getters() and setters() but with a source where the file is stored and plucked from. Your coders will have a better idea of how to tackle this and I think it would be a great contribution as it enhances the whole idea of competing. Please note these are made up figures I put.

Some people do not like sharing their data, and as fix I think certain details should be able to be hidden, like hours played. Other details should be readily available to the public. Going back to the server holding data, you guys must have something similar already in place that saves our data already, it could be taken from the same store of information.
P.S Lefty i just used you as an example, first name that came to my head lol, hope you dont mind.

damn son you goin in on these LBs haha. Aight my two cents: although this is a cool way to go about showing stats and seeing how you stack up with another player, I can't see them going about implementing something like this. TP devs are favorable to the secrecy of ranks and points etc, hence why they took away the promotion points and added the bar. What they are looking for more, are little things to enhance the game but not so drastically that large new elements have to be created and the whole dynamic of the game would change.
You obviously know how to think ideas through so ill give some advice to you that was given to me, focus on little things to improve the website, or something little and ingenious to help improve the game. Regardless i see you winning a lightbulb in the future at some point. Best of luck to you though!

Thanks weekend, the stats they are looking to compare are going to be those readily available to us already, for example best rank acquired but obviously alot of stats we wont get without the players disclosure, and if statistics are public it makes people more competitive. And thanks for that advice I will try to come up with the smaller ideas, i do post smaller ideas to them but it's these larger ideas i feel i should share with you guys. Thanks again

you are just giving nice visual aids to very common ideas. Which means you will probably win because they don't seem to award anything that they can't look at easily. I'm pretty sure they ignore most solid text submissions. Stat tracking is not a new idea though in any respect. It could be broken down much more, hrs per map, pph per map, total points, points against each color, kills per color, deactivated per color, # of bot deactivatations, # of deactivations on each rank....none of this is new. You are presenting it nicely though so good job.

Cool idea. It looks like it would take some decent time to implement but a tp nerd like myself would enjoy stat pages like this. I'd be for it.
