CV stands for curriculum Vita. That's what we use over here. I guess it's exactly the same only named differently.

We do use CV. It is commonly used in research positions and higher up positions. For lower level/entry positions, resume and cover letter will do.

1. It's curriculum vitae. Not vita. Vitae. Latin.
2. This isn't meant to be a shot at any of you guys, but to my understanding, most of us here are working entry-level jobs or are outside the job market as students. What the hell are you doing delivering resumes with cover letters, letters of recommendation, and professional references to $8/hr jobs?
