Is windows 7 good?
I have vista right now and I've got a burnt copy of windows 7
I might switch is it worth it?

Before you even consider about switching, make sure all of your hardware and software supports Windows 7. That was one thing that made me uninstall it.

For Windows: XP > W7 > 98 > Vista

For Windows: XP > W7 > 98 > ME > 2000 > Vista > 95 > 3.1 > DOS

Fixed.

Actually downloading this myself now, my gf's laptop just crapped out for no reason with Vista, was working earlier and then died, freezes at load screen.
Done all I can do, OS problem.

SO W7 time for her.

Yeah, my friend's laptop came with Vista and the laptop pretty much is garbage now. I'm trying to talk her and her brother into letting me reformat it and install XP.

Wasn't sure about the ordering of 2000 and ME, I know one was a lot buggier than the other, so I just left them out and did the main ones that people give a shit about :wtfmate:

ME technically was buggy as fuck, however Win2k/NT wasnt compatible with shit and utterly useless outside of business, and even then it wasnt used.

Nope. You could get on anyone's account in ME without their password. Granted a few files might be a little outdated, like I guess to the last system backup, but it was still enough to have fun.

Because I could actually run programs on ME, albeit when they could run...

>_>

XP was a major step up, used 98 for a while...
