Meh. 15 minute fill. Poor refills. Couldnt do shit, was one off about 4 kills for ranks. 10 minutes at the end and i kinda just putzed around on the field trying to police any bullshit if i could prevent it.

INTERDICTION pretty much schooled everyone, dude was major by 38 minutes in, cant really fuck that up either

bronze, got dibello on his second death. basically 4 people on him (who were all low as hell) and dibello makes a cross map tele that puts near insufficient. me being the only one with full fuel, i find this idiot and put 2 into him to finally rank

btw, i am officially the god of bronze cups, with a grand total of 8 already. get at me, my son.

I was 2-3 the first 50 mins.

2 people snagged fks and dropped me to 5 I ran out of ers and duals the last 8 min or so.

I pretty much gave 2 people a cup if mega noob was #1 then great job bro

I just wanna say the following:

1) Whoever Interdiction was, nice gold cup. You definitely deserved it + you had 99 xp and you got major rank super super early. That said, wow. So long as there was no foul play, you had the best xp I've ever seen someone get. Nice job.

2) I had a 5 minute 10 second full --60-- equipment fill. Any map with a significant amount of water, you need a ferry to win. My ferry came in on the bottom right and took me over a minute to find. Probably most of the others were taken.

3) My Lieutenant kills for Captain rank was just a factor of luck, good timing, and awareness. Lots of people I saw didn't pursue the guys that were low. They focused on xp rather than ranking. I followed the first Lt, and it was 3 shots to kill. Mine being the first and the third.

4) I was the second captain pretty early on.

5) My Lieutenant kill for Major rank was a factor of (the guy doesn't play too well) + I was the only person in position for dual shots + ready to teleport right away. I remember he was getting piled hard by 3 people. Since he was low and wasting armors away, I saw him teleport in a spot where there was a river block to the right, me on the left, two mountain areas on the top and below him. I was shooting duals, two others were shooting homers. After a long while, he teleported away from there to the right of the river. I teleported asap, 2 shots to kill.

6) At the end I had like equipment of: 100 0 9_ 9_ and 5_. Didn't feel like getting equipment fill for duals, even though I had so many ERS. Maybe a mistake? Anyways, I ranked up DD at the end for at least 50 duals while I was exchanging singles.

7) You can say you should've gotten 2nd, no problem with that. But still, I focused on kills to get that major rank. The reason why I didn't get as much xp is for that reason and that reason alone. Didn't wanna chance it on pp for a 1st Major 2nd Captain 3rd Captain rank.

when you said "wow just wow" followed by "I should have gotten silver" I just feel that means you don't give me too much credit for that silver cup.

Doesn't matter though, because I'm gonna get gold on Copper and hopefully people will give me credit then.

(And oranges were not an easy color to cup in this tourney. I had to stay away from the massive raids because purples were switching targets to me like a mother.)

I agree with your statements CH I got captain early and never went for a lt kill.

If I would snagged 987's "who wants a cup" serg for some equ (unless he had none) then I would have been almost certainly able to get bronze. Who knows how the last 10 mins would have changed if things played out slightly differently. I don't want to discredit you or TJ because you both earned those. Heck I could have died the last 10 mins and I wouldn't even feel disappointment on the map situation.

pretty sure interdiction never went on a ferry and was aided by timely kills (in regards to equip management), i did the same thing on this map in tp1 and also i would have probably been in the 95-99 range in this tournament if i didnt leave for 10 minutes, and that would have also been without a ferry :l

it seems like ferries are sort of overvalued by the community as a whole tho.

beat me to it.

this tournament i never even looked for a ferry in the beginning, just went straight to filling. in fact, i purposely avoided ferries in general -- even found a few throughout the tournament but never bothered. i think i was able to keep track of the fuckery/mobs from the start and filled accordingly.

top left was wet with both eq and fuel up until about the 32 minute mark. i fought tiger woods up there and smashed through the top ten relatively quickly. but yeah, i kind of lucked out that sean caught an appetite and left for a few lol, because the way he beasted after re-entering there's no doubt he would've 95'd at least.

Personally i like the challenge of playing land on water maps. only in extreme conditions will i hope or look for a ferry. My gold on ION DISSONANCE was 100% land, one of my more proud cups.

But theres no doubt a ferry in a map such as apps can be such a large advantage. Gj copper regardless
